今天是感恩节，美国人的节日。

 

早上骑车去实验室，突然想到，我爸爸曾经骑着那辆破旧得二八脚闸上下班好多年。

初二那次大雪天，他用自行车载我去师大体育馆打篮球。半路地滑我俩同时摔倒，拍拍身上的雪，起身，俩人对视后哈哈大笑。

高三那次脚踝受伤，他用自行车载我去上学校上课。我们从理工大学得院里走过，那天天很蓝，空气很好，旁边柳树很绿，树上鸟儿叫得很好听。

 

好像是2001年，一个在黑大上学的同学当做笑话给我讲：你看y学院就是有钱，院长开车上班；同楼的j学院没钱，院长骑自行车上班。

我爸爸就是那个j学院院长。

 

当时看见y学院院长开车上班时，我爸爸是什么心情？

我猜不到。

 

我只知道，当我悠闲的骑着我的二手车时，若旁边一辆奔驰飞驰而过，我会平静且坦然。

 

 

Today is Thanks Giving Day, an US festival. 

 

When I was riding bicycle on the way to lab this morning, I suddenly remembered my father and his "28" bicyle which he rode for many years.

I still remember that snowy winter day, when I was in Grade 2 in junior middle school. My father rode me to basketball gym for training. The road is slipery and we both fell off the bike. After cleaning up the snow on clothes, we looked at each other and burst into laughter.

I still remember thar sunny autumn day, when I was in Grade 3 in senior middle school. My fater rode me to school because my ankle sprained. The tree was so green, the air was fresh and the birds seemed be singing happily. 

 

It is in the year 2001, when a friend in Heilongjiang University tell a thing as joke: the Y college is so nice, the dean is rich and he drives a vehicle; the J college is not that nice and very poor, the dean rides a bike.

My father was just the dean of J college.

 

What was in my father's mind when he saw the dean of Y college driving a vehicle?

I do not know.

 

What I do know is that:

I felt calm and easy when a Benz passed my second-hand bike by.
